Director of Education - HeartMath
Jeffrey Goelitz has been with HeartMath Institute for 30 years and is currently Director of Education. As an education consultant, curriculum developer, and senior trainer who is guiding the growth of HeartMath in education, he regularly consults with education professionals, mental health specialists, parents and teens throughout the U.S., Mexico and Canada to improve youth well-being, parent-child communication and classroom climate and performance. He has co-created numerous educational curricula and programs designed to improve social and emotional learning. Goelitz is the co-author of Using emWave Technology For Children With ADHD, The College De-Stress Handbook, and Transforming Stress for Teens. He is the main contributor to a number of online programs including the award-winning Smart Brain Wise Heart program for preteens, the HeartSmarts Adventure program for ages 4-7, and the forthcoming program for children ages 7-10, WiseHeart. Jeffrey is currently directing a large CDC grant implementation in an urban school district with the goal of reducing youth violence.
